Some of my favorite items in the whole collection are vintage Nascar tickets, programs, and brochures from the 1950's through the 1960's.

Here is a look into the history of Nascar with images of vintage and new tickets, brochures, and passes.

1962 Atlanta Dixie 400 ticket - Rex White's 28th and final win. Features picture of David Pearson as winner of the 1961 race which was Pearson's 3rd victory. 1963 Daytona 100 Mile Qualifying ticket. These qualifying races predated the Gatorade Twin 125 Mile races by many years. These two were won by Junior Johnson and Johnny Rutheford. Features pictures of Fireball Roberts and Joe Weatherly as the 1962 winners. 1962 Charlotte National 400 ticket. This 3rd annual race was won by Junior Johnson for his 27th career victory. Features pictures of Speedy Thompson and Joe Weatherly as the winners of the first two races (1960 and 1961). 1969 Middle Georgia Raceway, Georgia 500 ticket. This race at the small track in Macon Georgia hosted a total of 9 Nascar races from 1966 to 1971, was won by Bobby Allison for his 16th career victory. Nascar eliminated all but the main tracks beginning in the 1972 season. 1963 North Wilkesboro, Wilkes 250 ticket. This 3rd annual race was won by Marvin Panch and was his 9th career victory. Features Richard Petty as winner of the 1962 event which was Petty's 6th career win, and to my knowledge is the first ticket to feature the King's picture.
